The first Pentakill of LoL Worlds 2015 was achieved by top laner An "Balls" Le of Cloud9. The pentakill was earned in a surprising and tense game between NA's underdog, Cloud9, versus Europe's power team, Fnatic.

"I didn't expect to get the Penta. I just saw 'Quadrakill' and then one person walking out and then I saw the Penta and I was like 'holy crap!' It was the best Penta, too, because we were able to end the game off of that. It was amazing!" Balls said, according to the League of Legends website.

The match resulted to a 3 win - 0 loss for Cloud9 and a shocking 1 win - 2 losses for Fnatic.

Here are two major reasons why this is an embarrassing turn of events, at least for Fnatic, and some:

Fnatic got beat by a team that almost did not make it to Worlds. It was surprising how Cloud9 even got the chance to come back up and join the Worlds 2015. With the standing it had, nobody, experts and fans alike, expected the team to leave a mark this season. Fnatic, however, is one of the powerhouses in the competition, very unlikely to be beaten by the likes of Cloud9, a team that lost to an auto-relegated team during the NA LCS summer season.

Balls has been the target of criticism ever since the series began. He was seen as the weakest inside the supposedly weak team, and to top it all off, he only ranks as a Diamond 2 in Korean solo queue.

Balls had the last laugh when he showed the e-sports community what a "Diamond 2" can achieve.

In his after-match interview, when asked how he was able to pull off an amazing first pentakill of the season, he replied, "All that Diamond 2 practice." He shared a good laugh before adding how his team trusted him and how he took all the criticisms to heart and just kept practicing, Daily Dot reports.

All eyes are on Cloud9 now as the Worlds 2015 continues.
