"Fuller House" star John Stamos, 52, will be charged for driving under the influence of the date rape drug GHB, according to MSN News.

TMZ reported that in June Stamos was stopped by Beverly Hills, Calif., police officers for erratic driving. When the officers stopped his silver Mercedes, they felt he was out of it and needed immediate medical attention. The police handcuffed the actor and the paramedics took him to the hospital.

Afterwards, the officers cited Stamos for the misdemeanor of driving under the influence.

The "Grandfathered" star thanked the police and the treatment center in a tweet: "Thanks for everyone for their love & support. I'm home and well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care."

According to MSN News, in July Stamos completed a 30-day program and tweeted, "I'm back!"

The actor was taking GHB because of its weight loss effects to "lean out body mass" in preparation for his new TV show, "Grandfathered," reported Gossip Cop.

His new Fox sitcom premiered on Sept. 29. "Fuller House" will be released on Netflix in 2016.
