Matt Barnes is known for having a fiery temper on the basketball court and his been in his fair share of scuffles in his NBA career. His latest incident happened off the court though as he reportedly attacked New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher after he got wind of the fact that Fisher was at his old house with his ex-wife Gloria Govan, according to Ian Mohr of the New York Post

Fisher filed for divorce from his wife of ten years, Candace, in March and has reportedly been dating Govan for a few months. Barnes reportedly found out about this relationship just this weekend and was none too happy about it. Fisher was reportedly at a barbeque with Govan, who stars on "Basketball Wives LA," and a few other friends in her Los Angeles home when Barnes came over and attacked Fisher.

Barnes was at Memphis Grizzlies training camp in Santa Barbara when he found out the news and reportedly drove 95 miles with the intention of "beating the s**t" out of Fisher. Fisher reportedly came out of the attack okay as he only had a few scratches. Fisher left before the cops arrived and missed Knicks practice on Monday for what they called personal reasons. Fisher is not expected to press charges but Govan is planning to get a restraining order against her ex-husband.

The NBA reportedly has heard about the incident and they are looking into it, according to Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Barnes recently had his own little relationship drama as he claimed that he and Rihanna had some sort of thing going on. The pop star later went on to deny the relationship and even said that she had never met Barnes.

Barnes and Fisher were teammates with the Los Angeles Lakers for two seasons back in 2010 until 2012. Barnes may face discipline from the league for his attack on Fisher.
