Justin Bieber visited the Great Wall of China on Monday, but decided there was a better way to view the historical landmark than just walking through it: have your bodyguards carry you.

Photographs have surfaced of Bieber's bodyguards helping the "Baby" singer get a "perfectly unobstructed view" of the landmark, E! news reports:

Fans took to Twitter and Instagram to document the "Beauty and the Beat" singer's length stay at the Chinese attraction.  Justin, who was surrounded by a team of about ten men, posed for snapshots, selfies and videos as he walked around the ancient monument. (Yes, guys, he actually walked part of the way!)

Bieber also decided to walk along the wall's edges, with the help of another bodyguard, of course.

This isn't the first time Bieber has made headlines for his "childish" behavior, and the gossip stories are enough to make his own mother, Pattie Mallette, concerned about him.

"A lot of people might think that I have my head in the sand or that I am oblivious to the things my son is doing," Mallette told PEOPLE last August.  "I know who my son is and I don't always agree with every single thing that he does but I don't necessarily have to address that with everyone else. He's my son and I have to respect he is not going to want me going around being 'that mom' talking about his behavior."

When Bieber turned 18 years old, Mallette knew she no longer had control over her son's decisions and she had to allow him to make his own mistakes.

"When your kids hit a certain age your parenting style changes and it is hard letting go," Mallette said.  "His life was my life and now I've had to let him go a little bit and let him be independent. It is hard to not be able to control everything that your adult child does."
