Well, this certainly paints a very different picture of electrifying New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. ODB has been considered something of a target for opposing defenders, hell bent on limiting his to-this-point-prodigious output, thanks to an Offensive Rookie of the Year-worthy initial NFL season. It seems now that that defensive targeting may be causing Beckham to do a bit of his own targeting, as a handful of Buffalo Bills defenders have alleged this week after their loss to the Giants on Sunday that Beckham was throwing both tantrums and punches after the whistle during the all New York matchup.

"They were doing everything in the book they could to try to get a free 15," Bills linebacker Preston Brown said, according to Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News. "They would say anything they thought would rile us up. Words usually don't do anything, but when they start swinging at you - they did that a lot. They were throwing a lot of cheap shots."

Brown, along with cornerback Stephon Gilmore and safety Duke Williams all claim that Beckham attempted a variety of cheap shots during Sunday's action, including, but not limited to, punches aimed at Brown and Williams and "tantrums" aimed at Gilmore.

"I don't know what's up with him," Gilmore said, via Dunne. "He acts like nobody's supposed to hit him and you're supposed to let him catch the ball. He's weird. He gets mad when you play physical with him. He's weird.

"He's different. It's kind of like you're playing your little brother and he gets mad at you for being too physical with him - throwing a tantrum. I'm like, 'Man, we're playing football. It's a physical game. ... He's a prima donna. He feels like he's on top of the world and nobody's supposed to do anything to him."

Interestingly, the trio of Buffalo defenders claim this isn't a first-time deal for Beckham. They told Dunne that while watching tape of the Giants game against the Redskins the week prior, they saw numerous instances of Beckham's penchant for cheap shots.

"That's what he does. He'll get away with it," Brown said. "He's the 'golden boy' of the league. He's on the cover of Madden. Sometimes, you get away with stuff like that."
