Demi Lovato recently announced her highly anticipated North American tour, the "Neon Lights Tour," featuring opening performances from Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and Cher Lloyd.

From the release of her fourth studio album "Demi" to renewing her role as a judge and mentor on "The X-Factor" and joining the cast of "Glee" as Naya Rivera's NYC love interest, Lovato has had quite an exciting year so far, but it won't be until 2014 that the former Disney girl embarks on the North American leg of her tour.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Oct. 5, and Lovato and her tour-mates have been tweeting non-stop about the news.

"Can't wait to share all my new songs from #DEMI with you!! Come see me!!!!," Lovato tweeted recently, while Fifth Harmony member Camilla Cabello tweeted in all-caps, "THANKS FOR HAVING US ON TOUR WITH YOU ID SAY THIS WAS A CHILDHOOD DREAM BUT THIS WAS LITERALLY UNIMAGINABLE."

The girls of Fifth Harmony became a group last season on "The X-Factor" in which Lovato was a judge and Simon Cowell was their mentor. Perhaps the most successful act from the U.S. version of the show's second season, the band, which was voted "Next Pop Superstar of 2013" by Popdust Magazine, will be releasing their debut EP, "Better Together" on Oct. 22 and headlining their first, small headlining tour in late October and November.

Little Mix, winners of the eighth series of the U.K. "X-Factor," will be joining Lovato on most of the dates, while fellow "X-Factor" alum Cher Lloyd, who has a duet with Lovato on her album "Demi," will be joining on starting in late March.

"I think it's going to be so much fun, there's nothing better than woman empowerment and having an all-girls tour. I helped put Fifth Harmony together ... and now they're going to be opening for me. It's so awesome," Lovato said On Air With Ryan Seacrest.

"Neon Lights" is also the title of Lovato's new and third single from "Demi."
