Tuesday may become the unofficial national day of breakfast for the U.S. That's the day McDonald's will start providing its breakfast menu all day long, according to Inquisitr.

McDonald's announced the change in September, but Tuesday will be the first time the all-day breakfast will be available across the country. Expect long lines at the drive-through as a result of the menu expansion. The day-long menu includes breakfast favorites such as the Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin, Hotcakes, the Sausage Burrito and, of course, the Hash Brown. You can also get Oatmeal and the Fruit 'N Yogurt Parfait.

In the past, McDonald's said that breakfast all day is the number one thing customers want, according to USA Today. As part of a large marketing campaign to get the word out about the all-day breakfast menu, McDonald's advertised some lunch-breakfast combos to help customers take advantage of both menus. This includes the McRib and a Breakfast Biscuit, and a Quarter Pounder paired with an Egg McMuffin.

Breakfast items not offered on the all-day menu will still be available on the traditional breakfast menu, which will continue to stop being offered at 10:30 a.m., according to the Gazette. Either way, breakfast has clearly changed forever.
