Tom Ford started a new trend by sharing his latest collection with the world through a music video- but not just any music video- a music video starring Lady Gaga.

The popular fashion designer decided to skip the runway of Paris Fashion and do something that's never been done before. The high-energy, disco-inspired video stars the iconic pop star while she and Nile Rodgers sing an updated version of Chic's 1978 hit "I Want Your Love," according to Rolling Stone. It features models dancing around the runway as they show off the latest designs, and luckily for us, Gaga's the one to show off some of the more revealing ones.

Ford announced back in September that he would be doing "something different and special" to present the new collection, but nobody expected this.

"Having a runway show has become so much about the creation of imagery for online and social media and watching a filmed fashion show can be like watching a filmed play [which is never very satisfying]," Ford, 54, said in a statement, according to Fashionista. "It was a great deal of fun to do and I think that video captures the spirit of the collection in a way that a filmed traditional show would not have."

"Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new," he told WWD. "I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online."

Nick Knight directed the trendy video, which stars models Mica Arganaraz, Lexi Boling, Kayla Scott, Xioa Wen Ju, Valery Kaufman, Aymeline Valade, Lida Fox, Lucky Blue Smith, Alex Dunstan, David Agbodji and Tarun Nijjer.

"Love you Tom, love you Nick. Love you Nile," Gaga tweeted following the video's release on Friday. "Beautiful day filming w/ 3 talented, brilliant, & CHIC gentlemen."
