One of the most highly anticipated first person shooters of the season, Battlefield 4, is going to launch its online multiplayer beta on Tuesday Oct. 1 for its early subscribers, the beta opens to anyone who wants to test it out before the game's Oct. 29 launch on Oct. 4. However, if you're one of the unlucky ones not eligible to get the beta download on its first day, IGN has you covered.

People can tune in Tuesday, Oct. 1 to watch IGN's hosts take on the Battlefield 4 Multiplayer beta live from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. PT or 2 p.m - 5 p.m. ET. Join hosts Daemon Hatfield, Scott Lowe and Mitch Dyer as they play through rounds of Conquest and Domination on the map Siege of Shanghai. As they take turns testing out some of the expected features of the game, they will be discussing things like character customization, dynamic maps and much more.

The gang will also be giving away codes for early access to the beta, that is, before the Oct. 4 open release. In addition, the trio will be taking questions and suggestions for what to do in the game live via Twitter. So users would be wise to keep an eye on @IGN for more details like the official hashtag they will be checking to receive any queries.

The Battlefield 4 Beta launches Oct. 1 for all Battlefield Premium subscribers, those who pre-ordered Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition or owners of the Limited Digital Deluxe editions of Medal of Honor. The beta is playable on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  The beta will open on Oct. 4.
