Do you miss Apple's in-store pick up option for the new iPhone 5S? Well, the new option will be resumed to all users next week. Buyers can now purchase the new iPhone via its online store and pick it up from any Apple Retail Store.

Have you been wondering why the in-store pick up option for the iPhone 5S via the Apple App Store went missing just a day after it was launched? The news is that Apple will be resuming that feature as early as Monday, 9to5Mac, citing two sources familiar with the matter, confirmed.

The demand for the new iPhone 5S has been on the rise and it is a known fact that people are willing to pay any price to grab a new one, especially the gold colored phone. Recently, a rare iPhone 5S gold color was sold on eBay for $10,100 through an online auction.

Apple launched the new iPhone 5S last week, and sold 9 million units on the opening weekend. A record sale for any company in such a short period. The Cupertino tech giant did not anticipate such a large demand for the iPhone 5S and is facing supply problems.

Apple's decision to bring back the Personal Pickup option suggests that the iPhone maker has been able to overcome the short supply issues for its latest device. But Apple is yet to send an official word on resuming the option to let customers purchase an iPhone 5S from its online store and pick it up from any Apple Retail Store.

Although the reason for retracting the helpful feature is a mystery, the strong sales and high demand can be seen as possible factors for the move.

Apple is using a "queue card" system for walk-in purchases and sources told 9to5Mac that it will continue the process until the strong iPhone demand is in control.

According to  a latest 9to5Mac update, the release of the Personal Pickup option early last week was a mistake due to a technical glitch.
