Irina Romanovskaya, a Russian artist from St. Petersburg, used her left breast to paint a portrait of Vladimir Putin in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of art, according to Dangerous Minds. "Using your breasts to paint is more complicated, it's labor intensive and slow," wrote Romanovskaya. "Any mistake can mean you have to start all over again."

Romanovskaya is using her special painting style to garner more attention to her cause - making Russian artists more of a priority, rather than an afterthought.

"I would like the politicians to pay attention to the artists because nobody pays any attention to artists," she said. "They are on their own doing something. I would like the authorities to pay attention to them and then somehow start helping them."

The Russian artist supposedly paints her breast and then presses her chest against blank paper, according to the Daily Mail. With her chest canvas, she also painted a picture of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev among others, like Hulk, a St. Petersburg athlete, according to the Moscow Times.

"I would want to give these paintings to Putin and Medvedev, but how would they react if they found out about the unconventional painting technique?" she said.
