LG is best known for its mobile devices and innovative television. Recently, however, it unveiled a product called LG Styler, which served to underscore the fact that the Korean company is more than just a phone or TV manufacturer.

The LG Styler is a high-tech mechanism that can revolutionize the way we use and clean clothes. It resembles a closet, but its technology could actually put dry cleaners or even detergent manufacturers out of business.

"The Styler is a new category of appliance that was developed to directly address the needs of customers who desired an option for garment care for hard-to-maintain clothes. The Styler is a perfect example of what we mean by 'innovation for a better life,'" Seong-jin Jo, president and CEO of the LG Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, told the Daily Mail.

The Styler uses a hot steam spray called TrueSteam Technology that can clean clothes without water and detergent. It also features functions that can smooth clothing wrinkles, eliminate odors, kill germs and spray custom perfumes. Users only need to hang their wardrobe inside the contraption and push some buttons. See the device in action below.

"LG Styler is a revolutionary solution for those who are balancing busy schedules while striving to maintain a meticulous wardrobe and present their best selves to the world," Dave VanderWaal, head of marketing at LG Electronics USA, said in a press statement.

The Styler machine will retail at $2,000 and is primarily targeted towards hotels, airport lounges and wealthy customers, Tech Times reported. It is also being marketed to people who are meticulous with their clothes and those who will find value in an alternative way to dry cleaning clothes.
