Chris Brown might soon be banned from entering Australia to play his music, but he will have no problems in Las Vegas. Brown has signed on for his own mini Las Vegas residency at Drai Beachclub and Nightclub, according to TMZ.

The singer's deal is for at least 10 shows at the Las Vegas hot spot. His first confirmed show is on Oct. 3. Brown, 26, will earn about $50,000 per show and will rotate performances with fellow r&b artist Trey Songz.

Brown is just the latest high-profile entertainer to sign a residency deal in Las Vegas. Artists with current long-term Las Vegas residencies include Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Lionel Richie and Celine Dion, Billboard reports.

The news of Brown's mini residency comes just days after the news that Australian officials are trying to ban Brown from entering the country due to his arrest for assault on singer Rihanna in 2009. The Australian Minister for Women, Michaelia Cash, said she recommended the singer be denied access to the country and that they "will be looking at this very, very seriously."

This is not the first time Brown has been banned from entering a country. In 2012 the United Kingdom would not allow access to the singer, saying he could pose a danger to the citizens.
