St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley will make his NFL debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL reporter Steve Wyche.

The 10th pick of the 2015 NFL draft is expected to see limited carries in his first game, according NFL reporter Quang Lam. Gurley has been out since tearing his ACL, while playing for the Georgia Bulldogs last November.

Gurley rushed for 3,285 yards and 36 touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia before deciding to enter the draft. The St. Louis Rams could certainly use Gurley as they are 27th in the league in rushing yards through two games this season, averaging just 71.5 yards a game.

Tre Mason is likely to be the starting running back, but he faces a tough challenge against the Pittsburgh Steelers rush defense. The Steelers held the 49ers to 111 yards rushing last week and they will likely look to stop the Rams rushing attack today.

Mason is likely to carry most of the load Sunday, but it will be interesting to see how head coach Jeff Fisher uses his new running back in Gurley. The Rams running back is likely excited to see his first action in an NFL game today, as he used his twitter account to show his excitement. The Rams have a tough challenge facing Pittsburgh's defense, but St. Louis fans are likely just looking forward to seeing their new star running back on the field.
