Jennifer Aniston is revealing her beauty secret to youthful looking skin and it might have a few people raising their eyebrows. According to Huffington Post Canada, Aniston's radiant and vibrant glow is reportedly due to placenta products.

A source told British magazine Grazia, that the actress uses "placenta-rich products" in the form of tablets, drinks, smoothies and chips - made from potatoes and dried flakes of placenta.

"Jennifer's dermatologist told her that a lot of his clients were taking placenta pills because it's the 'tissue of youth.' She gave it a go and found that her skin was more radiant, she had more energy and felt happier," the source said.

Other actress reportedly using this method include January Jones, Eva Longoria and Katie Holmes.

"Placenta is a super-potent ingredient and has a lot of growth factors and proteins that boost collagen production," Los Angeles dermatologist Annie Chiu told the Huffington Post. "I carry out facials using sheep placenta, because their DNA has been found to have the closet structure to that of a human. There has been a huge boom in Hollywood since celebrities started using it and people saw the incredible effects."

Chiu said if a person is interested in trying placenta-based products they would have to use it everyday for two months before they would notice any changes to their skin.
