Cassadee Pope has a message that she wants to send to her fans, and she did so in a powerful new music video for her song "I Am Invincible." The former front woman for Hey Monday and previous winner of NBC's "The Voice," released the song as her first single from her upcoming sophomore solo album, Rolling Stone reported.

"For my girls, the fighters, the warriors," Pope says in the intro to the song, dedicating it to those who have suffered from bullying.

The compelling music video that accompanies the track follows a young girl who gets bullied in various vignettes, and Pope sings empowering words of encouragement. Since its upload on Sept. 23, the video has garned about 40,000 views on Pope's YouTube channel.

"Nothing gonna make me break or shatter, no one's gonna tell me I don't matter," Pope belts out in the song's bridge.

Pope said that while she never experienced bullying as a teen because she started in the music industry at such a young age, she still wanted to write an empowering anthem for teens and kids who deal with bullying, and she offered some wise words of advice in a recent interview with Seventeen magazine.

"My advice to anyone being picked on for being different or for working towards a dream is to remember it's never personal," Pope told Seventeen. "These people don't actually dislike you at heart. They're just going through difficult things in their own personal lives."

Pope does have experience with overcoming obstacles while trying to achieve her dream of becoming a country music star. She said that she struggles being taken seriously as a young woman in the male-dominated country music genre, according to Rolling Stone.

"We get a little bit more of a difficult journey," Pope said. "I really pulled from that in a positive way. I haven't let it bring me down or make me want to quit. It's actually added fuel to my fire."
