To the world Caitlyn Jenner is known as one of the world's most popular transgender, but to her kids she is still "dad." During an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Kendall Jenner got candid about her father's new transgender status.

The 19-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" admitted that she did feel a sense of loss when her father transitioned from Bruce to Caitlyn, but said she has known about her father's secret for years.

"It's an adjustment. It's something you have to get used to, but I've known since I was a kid," she shared. "He never confirmed it to me, but I've known for a very long time. It's the same person. My dad says it herself sometimes, it's kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is."

"My dad is my dad, but he's not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad - that's the last little piece of dad I've got," she added.

Kendall's sister, Kim Kardashian, recently took to her blog website to talk about the first time she saw Bruce dressed in women's clothing. The pregnant reality star reportedly kept that secret for 13 years.

"My mom was out of town with my little sisters, visiting my grandmother in San Diego, and I was living with her and Bruce at the time in Calabasas," she wrote. "I came home from a friend's house and walked into the garage and Bruce was there, dressed up as a woman. Heels, wig, makeup and all! I don't remember specifically what he had on because I put my head down and ran into my bedroom."

She continued, "Had I not overheard my dad and his friends discussing rumors that Bruce would dress up as a woman years before (when I was about 11 years old), I never would have believed what I was seeing. I thought my dad was jealous of my mom's new husband, that he was joking with his friends on the phone, but suddenly I knew it was all true."

In her post, Kardashian explained that since the term "transgender" was not well known, she automatically thought Caitlyn was a cross-dresser.
