Since the last time we spoke digital Marketing Director for 2K Sports Ronnie Singh has provided a few more ratings through his Twitter account:

Metta World Peace—74

Jeremy Lin—76

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist—78

Dirk Nowitzki—84

Rudy Gay—86

Tony Parker—87

There aren’t any real surprises here or much difference from last year, outside of Tony Parker’s rating at 87. It’s refreshing to see TP9 start in the high 80s coming off a masterful performance in the Finals and a year in which, at times, he was considered in the MVP talks. Although Tony has arguably never been the best point guard in the league, he is in the conversation annually. It’s nice to see him finally start with a rating that says he’s in that conversation.

As Dirk gets older, his rating will continue to go down. He has never been a strong defensive presence inside and will be even less so as age catches up to him. On the offensive side, that jump shot isn’t going anywhere. However, the other aspects of his game will gradually diminish and with them his rating will follow.

We are still waiting for players such as Kyrie Irving, Dwight Howard, Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio. Love, like Kobe and D-Rose, suffered a devastating injury in the recent past. He missed a majority of last season and his rating will most likely draw discussion. However, if Derrick Rose is an indication, they’ll rate him near the rating he had in “NBA 2K13”.

"NBA 2K14" will hit stores for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 on October 1. The game will be released for Xbox One on Nov. 22 and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15.
