Now that Miley Cyrus has reportedly been cut from appearing on an upcoming Vogue cover, is Selena Gomez going to take her place? According to Entertainment Wise, Gomez was spotted meeting with Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in Milan.

The "Come and Get It" singer was in Milan for a couple days attending Fashion Week and reportedly had a sit-down meeting with Wintour. This meeting is now leading to speculation that fans could see her grace the cover of the fashion magazine in the very near future.

This news comes right after the Daily Mail reported that Miley Cyrus was reportedly cut from nabbing a cover on Vogue because of her VMA performance with Robin Thicke. A source told the British newspaper that Wintour decided to scrap the idea and go in a different direction.

"Anna found the whole thing distasteful," a source said. "She decided, based on Miley's performance, to take the cover in a different direction."

The cover would have been an excellent career move for Cyrus. Vogue's next cover will be celebrating their 100th anniversary and will feature Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton in a one-piece bathing suit holding a cake.

Gomez has been making a name for herself in the fashion world. According to Selenascloset.com, the starlet was spotted walking the streets of Milan with a Versace Signature Collection Bag which was featured on the same runway show she attended that day. The bag is not yet for sale. She accessorized the pricey purse with an H&M jacket and H&M jeans.

Gomez even tweeted a photo with Donatella Versace, captioning the photo "To be great, learn from the greatest."
