Amy Schumer had a great night at Sunday's 67th Emmy Awards and even took home the prize for Outstanding Variety Sketch series, an award won for her Comedy Central show "Inside Amy Schumer." After the Sunday night broadcast, Schumer said she received a very funny text message from her new friend, Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence after the show.

"Jennifer sent me a really sweet text," Schumer told Entertainment Tonight. "She said that I looked pretty but not smart."

Schumer then gushed about Lawrence's comedic chops and even discussed the movie the two are working on together, saying they're looking to start filming around February 2017.

"She's the real deal funny," said the comedian of Lawrence. "My sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together, so we're gonna, hopefully, be shooting that in a year or something. We're busy!"

While Schumer and Lawrence spent a lot of time together over the summer, the comedian said their friendship was overhyped.

"We really like each other, but I think the media blew it up," Schumer told E! News. "We're not BFFs. We're just Fs, but we're really good Fs.

"I have BFFs since I was 8 years old so it'll be tough to uproot them," she said.

If Schumer and Lawrence's friendship does not work out, "Modern Family" star Julie Bowen said she was ready to become her next BFF.

"In my mind, I had it all played out that if I saw you I was going to fall to the ground like you did with Kim and Kanye, but I can't in this," Bowen told Schumer on the Emmy's red carpet, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Things would come out. In my mind, I hang out with you. In my mind, we're best friends."
