A Florida woman's home was searched by police to serve multiple felony warrants, and authorities discovered a home stocked with upwards of 3,500 knives and host to some sort of altar.

Nicole Dykema, 47, was seen on surveillance video attacking her home with a knife, and when parole and police officers arrived, they were attacked by Dykema, who wielded a machete, narrowly missing injuries to their faces and heads, according to AOL.

"My family has been through hell for two years with this woman," said neighbor Paula Deford to CBS affiliate, WTSP. "It's just been torment, torment. I'm lucky to be alive, that's how I feel, that's exactly how I feel."

Upon searching the Brooksville, Fla., home, police also discovered a "satanic-like shrine, chicken bones, and fake bloody body parts" inside. The authorities were shocked at the discoveries within the home.

When Dykema fled into the home, police issued commands for her to exit her property, and when she failed to comply, they forced their way inside. As they chased her further into the home, she brandished long swords and knives, according to The Inquisitr.

Deputies had to deploy a taser to subdue Dykema, and fortunately, no one was injured during the arrest.

"It amazes me that these deputies were able to take her into custody without anyone being injured," Sheriff Al Nienhuis told WFLA.

Dykema was charged with several counts of probation violation, property damage, criminal mischief, resisting an officer and assault on an officer. Previously, she was arrested for resisting an officer and carrying a concealed sword in her pants while shoplifting chef's knives at Dollar Tree, according to Syracuse.
