One of the most prevalent rumors surrounding the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" has been that the "Big Three" will be returning for the film that is set to take place 30 years after the events depicted in "Return of the Jedi." Lost in all of the excitement of a possible on screen reunion of Luke, Leia and Han Solo was the absence of a certain "big walking carpet."

Yahoo Movies has come across a casting call that seems to be hinting at the possibility of Chewbacca returning for the 2015 film. The crossbow wielding wookie was a fan favorite even if no one was able to understand what he was saying; his presence in a new film would be gladly welcomed.

"Tall Man (Male, 21-60), 7ft to 7.3 ft tall with a slim/thin build and upright posture," the casting call read according to Yahoo Movies. "Not too worked out or too 'thick set' especially in the shoulders. Broad facial features would be a bonus."

That definitely sounds like the requirements to play a wookie. The humongous age range seems to suggest that the actor would be in some sort of costume or heavy makeup so that it won't matter whether they are young or old; no one is going to be seeing their actual face anyways.

Peter Mayhew, the original Chewbacca, is unlikely to return for the film since he recently underwent double knee-replacement; if filming is set to begin at the start of the new year it is unlikely Mayhew will have recuperated sufficiently to reprise the role, according to Yahoo Movies.

In other casting news the rumor that Benedict Cumberbatch will be in the upcoming film won't die. J.J. Abrams was quoted by Yvonne Villarreal of the Los Angeles Times as saying "I love that guy" in reference to Cumberbatch. Although he said nothing about specifically finding a role for Cumberbatch Abrams did say that they are working on casting, according to Metro.

"We're working our a**es off trying to get things in place with casting," Abrams told the Los Angeles Times.
