Nokia Lumia 929, the new large screen Windows Phone with a 1080p display to be launched on Verizon Wireless before the end of year.

Rumor mills are in overdrive concerning upcoming Nokia launches. At first, the Finnish maker was speculated to be working on its first 6-inch Lumia 1520 Windows Phone, codenamed "Bandit." Several reports confirmed that Nokia would unveil the device at a September 26 event, which was later delayed to an October 22 release. So far, it is confirmed that Nokia will show off its biggest phablet, Lumia 1520 and a 10.1-inch Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, codenamed "Sirius."

Now, Twitter user @evleaks has revealed that another device from Nokia called Lumia 929, is set to release on U.S. carrier Verizon Wireless before the end of this year. Based on the leaked picture, the new Windows phone will feature a large screen (possibly 5-inch) but not as big as the Nokia Lumia 1520 and will sport a 1080p display. Sources also confirmed to The Verge that the Nokia Lumia 929 is a Lumia 1520 variant and will feature a 20-megapixel camera, but very little is known about the device's other specifications.

Earlier this month, an image of Lumia 929 was leaked by a web user on Sina Weibo, China's largest social networking site with over 500 million users. Sources familiar with the matter confirmed the existence of another Windows phone, and people might not have to wait too long for more information on the device over the coming weeks.

Recently, a FCC listing showed that the device will come with 4G LTE, support NFC, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0, suggesting that it has passed the necessary tests.

The tweet from @evleaks also revealed that the device will arrive in two color variants, White and Black.
