Emilia Clarke, best known for playing the role of dragon mother Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones" thinks TV bosses should be more "subtle" and suggestive when it comes to nude sex scenes instead of graphic.

"Sex scenes should be more subtle. I'm British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway - I can't stand it," said the 28-year-old actress who has appeared topless on the fantasy drama on several occasions before, according to Daily Mail.

Clarke apparently told bosses of the HBO show two years ago that she didn't want to disrobe on camera any more. Fellow "Game of Thrones" co-star Oona Chaplin confirmed that Clarke had told "Game of Thrones' execs that she was done with on-screen nudity because she wanted to be recognized for her acting talent and not her breasts, according to Fox News.

"I don't want to have sex thrown in my face and I've always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself. Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous and they're usually just to attract an audience," she said. "On screen, the subtler the better."

The "Terminator: Genisys" actress also turned down the role of Anastasia Steele in the hit film "50 Shades of Grey" because of the "huge amount of nudity in the film," as HNGN previously reported.
