Someone’s taking a little trip from Harlan County to New York City.

Joelle Carter of FX’s “Justified” will appear on ABC’s “Castle” this season, according to TVGuide.com.

Carter will play Maggie Ingram, the girlfriend of a man on death row whose execution is right around the corner.

While we can guess that Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) will be involved, TV Guide reports that Alexis (Molly Quinn) will play a huge role in the inmate’s case.

Carter is no stranger to playing a women involved with a man on the wrong side of the law. On “Justified,” she plays the role of Eva Crowder, the wife of clever and devious crook Boyd Crowder (Walter Goggins).

The episode in which Carter appears is called “Like Father, Like Daughter.” (Maybe Alexis’ crime fighting skills rival that of her dad’s?) It will be episode seven of Season 6, however a date for the episode has not been scheduled.

The main focus of the sixth season, or at least what everyone is wondering about, will be Beckett’s decision concerning the FBI job in Washington D.C.

There have been many hints and guesses surrounding the situation during the show’s offseason—including this sneak peek and the interesting role of Lisa Edelstein’s character.

Viewers can sure of one thing—whatever Beckett decides will change her and Castle’s lives forever. (And no, I’m not being overly dramatic.)

“Castle” returns Monday, Sept. 23* at 10/9c on ABC.
