Contestants on the Discovery Channel's hit survival series "Naked and Afraid" jump right into their outdoor settings and are ready to get their grub on, literally. In an exclusive, gross new sneak peek for the upcoming season three B premiere, two castmates says a prayer before they chow down on two huge, squirmy larva, TV Line reported.

"Oh I don't want to touch this, but I know we can eat this," the female contestant says as she brings over two grubs that she found while foraging for food. "Fatty ones."

The male contestant places the grubs on a small metal pan over an open flame and the insects squirm and wiggle around as they're being cooked alive.

"Instantly like my heart is sinking 'cause I know that we have to eat these poor guys and they're like dying in front of me," the female contestant tells the camera.

"Freak, it's like leaking out stuff," she says, fully grossed out.

Her partner goes first, popping one in his mouth with no hesitation at all and tells her that the grub has a good, nutty flavor. She bravely pops one into her mouth and makes a disgusted face as she chews on the insect.

"The grub's so mushy, it like crunches and explodes," she tells the cameras.

The hit series that drops two strangers, a man and a woman, into the wilderness to fend for themselves for 21 days with no food, clothes or shelter features a twist this season. Instead of enduring the rain forests of Thailand, contestants will be dropped off in various locations around the world, like Panama, Thailand, Namibia and Belize. Season two of the show pulled in the highest ratings ever, with 3.47 million viewers in total, according to Deadline Hollywood.

Season three B of "Naked and Afraid" premieres on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10/9 c on the Discovery Channel.
