"Saturday Night Live's" Pete Davidson honored his firefighter father Scott Davidson, was killed in the terrorist attacks the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, in a series of tweets on Friday, according to People. The comedian was only 7 years old when his father died, and Friday marked the 14th anniversary of his death.
"Can't believe it's been 14 years," he tweeted alongside a picture of the two. "I remember seeing ur gigantic dick like it was just yesterday. RIP Dad #NeverForget."

Davidson then followed up his funny tweet with a serious one, "All jokes aside. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think of u. Ur my hero. Cant wait to see u again someday."

The 21-year-old also took to Instagram to share pictures of him with his dad. "Over 2/3 of my life without you. It feels like it was just yesterday," he wrote as a caption on the post, in which he called his father his "hero," according to E! News.
