Popularly known as the land of Kpop, Korea has grown from being a typical tourist destination to a leader of popular culture and the trendy and innovative travel destination.

Here are two ways to get a chance to win a free trip to Korea.

1. Write your name in Korea. (Aug. 20 to Sept. 30)

Write Your Name in Korea, a global tourism campaign, gives participants the opportunity to have their name forever engraved on an actual road in Korea.

Interested parties may submit their names on the website Imagine Your Korea. After submitting their contact details and confirming their email address, participants will received a confirmation email and gift voucher. They will also receive an Imagine Your Korea sample itinerary.

Those who joined may revisit the website periodically to see if their names have been engraved. A total of 22,500 names will be written on the road.

Each week, from Aug. 20 to Sept. 30, a winner is randomly selected. These lucky persons will receive two round-trip flight tickets to Korea, accommodations for two nights in Seoul and one night in Changwon, and a one-day tour of Sang Sang Gil in Changwon. Winners must visit Korea by Oct. 28, 2015.

2. Join the Peace Flag Contest. (Aug. 21 to Oct. 4.)

The Peace Flag Campaign aims to change the world through peace. The Peace Flag Contest is divided into three categories: Peace Film, My Peace Flag and Peace Words.

Anyone around the world may join the contest from Aug. 21 to Oct. 4. Entries may be submitted by clicking the "present to the contest" button on the website. A grand winner will be will selected in each of the three categories and will be invited to the Peace Flag Award Ceremony and the Peace Tour in Korea.

Regardless of the category, 67 outstanding entries will receive an award for excellence. Works of the three grand winners and the 67 other awardees will be exhibited on the Peace Flag website. They will also receive K-pop items.
