A group of illegal immigrants were allegedly involved in the death of Danny Centeno-Miranda, a 17-year-old Park View High student in Virginia who was shot and killed on his way to school, according to Fox News.

Loudoun County investigators have arrested three young men in connection to the shooting and have charged one minor with second-degree murder. Two others, Henry Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Aguirre Zelaya, 18, are being charged with possession of firearms and being accessories to murder, according to The Washington Post,

Miranda was supposedly walking to the bus stop for school one day when he was shot twice in the back. He later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Investigators have determined that all three suspects are undocumented, with Zelaya and Dominguez both from El Salvador, and the minor believed to be an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

Although the accused is a minor, prosecutors will attempt to try the murder suspect as an adult, according to The Loudoun Times.

Authorities have not determined a motive yet, but they do believe the killing was intentional, possibly gang related and that it seems likely that the victim knew the shooter somehow, as they were from the same neighborhood.

"I don't think there's any question that that school (Park View) has gang activity," said Loudoun County Department of Public School Safety's Suzanne Devlin.
