Jurgen Klinsmann is in the hot seat, according to The Washington Post.

After a terrible display at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where the United States finished fourth, their lowest finish in 15 years, Klinsmann has come under heavy heat recently. If the USMNT does not perform well in its upcoming International Friendlies, there might be another person at the unemployment office soon.

"We're not looking at it as two friendlies on the way to whatever," Klinsmann said. "It became a different dynamic after what happened in the Gold Cup. We can't fix it afterwards; we have to win [against Mexico]," Klinsmann told The Post.

After the loss to Jamaica at the Gold Cup, there was a barrage of "fire Klinsmann" tweets and it did not seem like the German icon would be around much longer.

While many have called for his head, there have been other groups who know that Klinsmann is part of a long-term plan and should not be fired based off several small issues, according to SI.com.

Klinsmann is entering into his second-term with the United States and knows the player pools well. His choices moving forward are solid, however, he continues to call players into camp that are not living up to certain standards in their respective leagues. If the United States does not win any or only one of its upcoming matches, the masses will continue their chants to fire Klinsmann, and they might get what they desire.
