Sunday's eruptive second episode of the successful "Fear The Walking Dead" left several major characters in cliffhanger situations. Unfortunately, because of Labor Day Weekend, viewers will have to wait until next Sunday to discover their fates. However, AMC recently released an official synopsis for episode 3, titled "The Dog," and a few teasers that hint at what's to come.

"After they escape a riot, Travis, Liza and Chris seek refuge with the Salazars; Madison defends her home," the synopsis from TV Guide reads.

If you'll remember, Travis (Cliff Curtis), Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) ended last week's episode cooped up in the Salazars' barber shop trying to wait out the ongoing riot that had broken out on L.A.'s streets. But with no backdoor or access to the roof, their options for escape are limited.

Meanwhile, Madison (Kim Dickens) stopped her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) from helping their neighbor who was being attacked by a Walker, while son Nick (Frank Dillane) struggled with his withdrawal symptoms. With Madison defending her home in episode three, the Walker from next door may have found his way to their humble household. Who wants to be neighborly in a zombie apocalypse anyway?

AMC's official YouTube channel released the below clip from the upcoming episode which reveals the barbershop crew to have escaped to Travis' truck. They carefully drive through a Los Angeles plunged into chaos, attempting to avoid the violent protesters and the trigger happy authorities in the process. But if they thought this was bad, they'll be in for an unfortunate surprise when a horde of fresh Walkers begin roaming the streets.

"Fear The Walking Dead" will return in two weeks.
