Tom Cotton, Republican United States Senator met with Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel Prime Minister on Monday in Jerusalem. The said meeting was during the senator's week long trip to Israel.

Both being opposers of the U.S., Iran and five world powers agreement to dismantle Iran's nuclear program, they talked about the deal's possible implications for the region. Cotton stated that his meeting with the Israel Prime Minister reiterates his resistance over the agreement, according to the Washington Times.

"There is no one better to discuss the impact of a nuclear Iran, both in the Middle East and in the world. I will stand with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israel and work with my colleagues in Congress to stop this deal and to ensure that Israel has the means to defend itself against Iran and its terrorist surrogates," said Cotton, US State Senator, according to Arkansas Online.

Cotton sent a letter in March to Iranian leaders stating that deals with the United States will be removed after the next president takes over in January 2017.

His latest criticism was towards the side deals between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), wherein Iran will have the jurisdiction on when and where to allow the inspections of their nuclear facilities.
