You rarely see Kylie Jenner with the same hair color or style because she's always sporting some type of extension (typically her own line), weave or wig. While it's obvious that her natural hair is dark brown, as she typically leaves her roots showing, she has officially opted for real dye for the first time in months to change up her 'do, and this time she's a blonde (for now).

We've seen her big sister Kim Kardashian dye her hair blonde a few times over the last few years, while her other big sister Khloe gets lighter and lighter by the day, and now Kylie's the newest blonde beauty of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Even Kendall showed off some blonde photos recently, but that turned out to just be a wig. Just a few weeks ago, she rocked a blonde wig for her 18th birthday, and we can only assume she loved that look enough to make it permanent.

"Took months of not dying my hair and wearing wigs to get my hair back to health so I can do this!!" she captioned the photo of herself showing off her new locks, stunning in a tan skirt and white crop top that hug her curves perfectly. "Thank you @priscillavalles @maishaoliver for putting up with me all day. I'm going an ashy dirty blonde for the fall. But this s-ts a process! I'm coming for u Khloe!"

While it's obvious she has dyed it this time, she still left some of her brown roots on the top so it blends perfectly. On Monday morning, following the VMA's, Kylie posted a photo of what seems to be her natural short, brown hair after rocking a wig with bangs the night before, so it's obvious she has also added some blonde extensions to her new look as it's almost touching her hips.

Celebrity hair stylist Tokyo Stylez has had some influence on her previous looks, as Jenner went to him for advice after seeing his work on Instagram. "She started to send me pictures of looks that she wanted to re-create," he told Allure. "She sent me her head measurements, and I got started with a wig block on a wig stand. I envisioned her hairline, and I started building the wig piece from scratch. When it came time to color the wig, I dyed it once and sent a picture of it to Kylie. She liked it, but she had some comments to fine-tune it, so I redid the color a bit."
