The season finale of “The Newsroom” ended on an extremely great note. Too great. As in if-you-left- it-how-it-was-everything-would-be-OK great. We already know that the show has been renewed for a third season. Therefore, here's my Season 3 Wish list for “The Newsroom”:

No. 1—A wedding

Can you imagine the ladies of “The Newsroom” attempting to help organize Will (Jeff Daniels) and Mac’s (Emily Mortimer) wedding? The amount of laughs that could come from that one episode may be enough to last an entire season. Sloan (Olivia Munn) would make some sort of the process unbearably awkward. Maggie (Alison Pill) most likely hates weddings since the man she loves has a girlfriend. Mac will probably be running around attempting to make everything work.

No. 2—A Miley Cyrus joke

Let me explain what I mean by this. If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading Meredith Artley’s piece (that she didn’t really write) on the Onion website, please do. It “explains” the reason CNN covered the VMA’s following Miley and Robin Thicke’s performance. I don’t think Will should bash Miley personally. However, a quick quip about why major media outlet’s “need” to cover stories such as this one would be both hilarious and possibly informative.

No. 3—Don and Sloane

I have been cheering for Don (Thomas Sadoski) and Sloan for some time now so I’m going to need them to be together for at least a year. They would make a great—and by great I mean awkward and funny—couple. I don’t see a down side to keeping them together for a little while.
