A house in Elgin Crescent in Notting Hill had an unexpected guest up on its window: a sleeping fox.

Rachel Johnson, author and sister to London Mayor Boris Johnson, spotted the napping fox on the second-floor window sill.

"It must have got up via the scaffolding on the house next door.  People were coming out of their houses with telephoto cameras ... There are lots of them in the neighborhood, always in the gardens - they seem to own the place. But when I saw this one it was hard to feel the same sense of rage," Johnson said, according to Bored Panda.

Foxes are known to roam the neighborhood at night, but this one was comfortable heading deeper into the community during the daytime, before finally taking a cozy rest on the window sill, according to Mirror.

Johnson also said that the fox was lucky that nobody tried to shoot it, as it was just like a sitting duck on top of the only conservative constituencies in the heart of the capital, The Independent reported.
