An employee of the Transportation Security Administration was arrested on Thursday and charged with forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and official misconduct after he allegedly lead a woman into an airport bathroom and molested her, according to Reuters.

Forty-year-old Maxie Oquendo apparently used his influence as a TSA agent to mislead a 22-year-old student into following him into the bathroom at LaGuardia Airport in New York for a security check, where he then molested here.

"Supposedly he took her into another area using his official position, being in uniform, and she thought it was a part of his official duty," said Joe Pentangelo, spokesperson for the Port Authority.

Oquendo was fired a day after the incident occurred, InfoWars reported.

Peter Neffenger, an administrator with the TSA, said that the administration is working in close proximity with the Port Authority Police Department to aid in the investigation process.

The TSA's policies on security pat downs state that they are to be conducted by a member of the same sex, and if a private pat down is requested, the traveler is allowed to bring a "companion" of their choice along to accompany the search. They went on to state that an additional TSA officer "will always" be there during a private screening.
