Charlie Sheen would like to be Donald Trump's Vice President, according to The Wrap. At least, that's what the actor said on his Twitter feed Thursday, after actor Owen Wilson compared Sheen to Trump.

"If Trump will hv me I'd be his VP in a heartbeat!" Sheen said on Twitter. This is an about-face from Sheen's previous stance just last month, when he compared Trump to "cat farts" on Twitter, saying "You're a shame pile of idiocy."

"So here's somebody who's not following that script. It's like when Charlie Sheen was doing that stuff-like, wow! He's answering a question completely honestly, and in an entertaining way. You sort of feel he could be a character from 'Network,'" Owen Wilson told The Daily Beast.

Trump, the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential primary, has not responded to the actor's offer. Charlie Sheen was born Carlos Estevez, according to GossipCop, which could really help Trump with the Latino vote.

Sheen has been convicted of assault, got fired from "Two and a Half Men" and made headlines for a series of ranting video chat sessions known as "Sheen's Korner," according to CNN. He's currently starring on an FX series called "Anger Management," a job he could not hold if he were to serve as the nation's vice president.
