The MTV Video Music Awards typically give us the most entertaining show of the summer, and with so many amazing and talented artists nominated for awards, you can always expect some A-List performances. On Tuesday, MTV released the highly anticipated list of live performers with a video that seems to match the same lime-green vibe of all the promotional videos released for this year's VMAs so far. The video gives a quick countdown and then shows each of the performers one by one. The Weeknd, Tori Kelly, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Loivato, Twenty One Pilots with A$AP Rocky and Pharrell will all be making "your VMA dreams come true on the main stage" this year, according to MTV News.

The Weeknd was the only performer we knew about in advance, but the other six were all newly announced.

We have seen some of these artists perform at the VMAs in the past, but a few are newbies. Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell have all performed before, while Twenty One Pilots never has, according to People. Tori Kelly is a special act because not only is this her first time performing on the stage, but it's also her first time even attending the star-studded event.

In the video, MTV then showed a picture of Kanye West, stating the other news it had released yesterday with a similar style video. This year, West will be receiving the honorable Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award which has been given to stars like Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé and Britney Spears in the past. West is also set to perform, and as always, it's guaranteed to be a good one.

The video then showed two outlines of a boy and girl who have question marks over their shapes, one saying "Revealed 8/26/2015" and the other saying "Revealed 8/27/2015." These additional performers will be announced at a later date, MTV said in a statement, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This year's host, Miley Cyrus, also quickly made her way into the video. Naturally, she was riding a big white cat with her tongue out. To go along with the bright and colorful theme of this year's show so far, a new rainbow Moonman has even been designed!
