Nick Carter is making all '90s girls' dreams come true by joining "Dancing With The Stars" for the show's 21st season. It's been a while since we've seen the Backstreet Boys alum do his boy band dance moves, but he's ready to show us if he's still got it.

It's been four years in a row now that the "DWTS" producers have asked Carter to join, and he finally gave in, according to Us Weekly. "I'm excited," the 35-year-old singer said. "My brother [Aaron Carter] was on it; he did great; and he's a great little dancer and entertainer so I saw it through his eyes throughout that experience." Carter knows he's competitive, so he just wants to go on and "represent the Carter name," and maybe even do better than his younger brother did.

Ironically, it turns out that a member of 'N Sync, the Backstreet Boys' former rival, was the one to convince him to join the show. Joey Fatone, who danced on season 4 and then came back as an All Star for season 15, talked Carter into signing the deal by explaining how great of an experience it really was for him. The two have become good friends ever since their '90s boy band days.

Carter posted a video with clips of him dancing on stage back in the day along with some clips from their music videos. "You ain't seen nothing yet #DWTS," he wrote.

As confident as he may be, you'd think Carter would think of himself as a good dancer with some skills, but he's actually a little shy. "I've never considered myself a great dancer," he admitted. "I might have a little insecurity on that end. I think it'll be a cool experience."

The Backstreet Boys' official Twitter even showed Carter some love when they found out the news. "Give it up for @nickcarter joining @DancingABC this season!!" they wrote. "Let's help get him that trophy...#NickCarterDWTS."

Carter is the third cast member to be announced for the upcoming season, which airs on Sept. 14 on ABC. Bindi Irwin and Victor Espinoza were the first two stars to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates on the cast and watch "Good Morning America" on Sept. 2 for the full cast reveal!
