Meowtel, a website that offers fun and affordable kitty services, is the perfect place for cat owners and cat lovers to show some extra love and care to the felines while earning extra money.

"We then realized we had an opportunity to make a difference for kitty cats everywhere, whether they were homeless or already in a forever home," the fundraising campaign for the website wrote on Indiegogo.

The site offers cat boarding and cat sitting and is the perfect place to search for both foster and adoptable cats. An individual or organization can list cats on Meowtel to find foster parents or adopters. It has a Shelter Incentive Program (SIP) wherein the shelters will receive a certain percentage that can be used to support their work. This online cat sanctuary could also help cat owners who want to make sure that their cats are in proper care while they are away.

Founder Sonya Petcavich did an IAmA on Reddit about Meowtel. According to Petcavich's bio, she quit her six-figure job to pursue her wildest kitty cat dreams.

Meowtel also aims to lessen the high rate of euthanasia with the vision to have all cat shelters across the U.S. to be no-kill one day. Around 3.4 million cats enter shelters in a year and 1.4 million of them are euthanized; only 1.3 million are adopted, the ASPCA reported.

Aside from helping Meowtel reach its online fundraising campaign goal of $25,000, interested people can support the site by becoming a Meowtel user, a Meowtel host or merely by searching for pet cats on the site.

After the site was introduced on Reddit, users flocked to the website and crashed it. As of this posting, the site is still under repair.
