A female news photographer in Australia has accused Mel Gibson of verbal and physical abuse. The photographer claimed the actor shoved and yelled at her in a rant outside of a Sydney movie theatre on Sunday.

The Academy Award winner denied all of her allegations and said that he never laid a hand on her.

News Corp Australia photographer Kristi Miller alleged that Gibson shoved her from behind after she took a photograph of the actor and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Rosalind Ross, according to The Daily Telegraph.

"I took a photo of Mel and his girlfriend and when I turned around he shoved my back really hard ... It shocked me because I wasn't expecting it. I don't know if it was his hands or elbow," she said.

"He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I'm not even a human being and I will go to hell," Miller said. "He swore and called me a c--t. It was non-stop, he didn't even breathe," Miller said, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Gibson's publicist Alan Nierob dismissed all of Miller's claims and painted them as lies. "There was no physical contact whatsoever with this photographer, who was harassing my client and his friend," Nierob said. "There was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by her is a complete fabrication of the truth."

In the past Gibson has had major problems with anger management, reported the Washington Post. In 2006 he launched into an anti-Semitic tirade about how "the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world" during a traffic stop. In 2010 recordings surfaced allegedly of Gibson where he ranted against the mother of his child that included the use of the N-word and the term "wetback."

The case is being investigated by police in Australia.
