Sometimes, there isn't enough time during weekends to do everything you'd like. As soon as you wake up, you'd much rather spend the time hitting the beach, the weekend market or enjoying the outdoors in the last days of summer, right? You can't be bothered making breakfast.

But as breakfast is the most important meal of the day and skipping it is harmful, according to WebMD. You can make the most of the weekend and still enjoy eating your first meal. It doesn't have to be a chore to prepare breakfast! Here are some quick fixes:

1. Throw the bacon in the microwave for a fast and crispy breakfast treat. On your microwavable dish, lay paper towels and then set the bacon in single layers, a few spaces apart for easier cooking. Cover with paper towels and then cook in the microwave for about a minute. Check the bacon and microwave for 30 seconds more if desired. Via The Kitchen.

2.  Buy fruit ahead of time, slice in little bite-sized pieces at home and store the goodies in Ziplocs. You now have your smoothie packs to store in the freezer! In the morning before hitting the outdoors, you can just pop these out and blend. You don't have to add ice since the fruit is frozen. Add either juice, milk or yogurt into the mix and you have a delicious smoothie. You can do the same for vegetables for green smoothies. Via Lacey In Love.

3. Bake an egg in an avocado for a deliciously healthy protein treat. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Slice the avocado and take out the pit. Crack an egg in its center, place the avocado on a baking sheet and slide in the oven. This will be good to go after 18 minutes, so while you're waiting, you can take your morning bath. 4. Scramble cheesy eggs in the microwave for two minutes. Using a mug, crack two eggs and at least two tablespoons of milk and mix it all together. Set the microwave on high and let it cook for 45 seconds. Take the mug out, stir, and microwave it again for another 45 seconds. Top with grated cheese. Via Where The Cookies Are.

5. Enjoy hash browns using a waffle iron - no flipping needed! Preheat the iron as you shred the potatoes. Make sure that the potato shreds are dry. In a bowl, mix the potatoes with salt and pepper. Grease the waffle iron with a brush and then simply pile the potatoes on the iron. Close the lid and check every two minutes. Cook longer for crispier hash browns. Via Serious Eats.
