"Teen Mom 2" star Jennelle Evans was arrested earlier today for assault on  ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend, TMZ reported. Evans and Griffith broke off their engagement for the second time earlier this month.

Police were called to the residence of a 29-year-old woman who told officers that she was at the home of her boyfriend and was helping him gather some of his belongings. Griffith, no longer lived at the house. That's when the new girlfriend claims Evans assaulted her, reported WBTW in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The victim claimed Evans threw a glass at her head and injured her. It was not known if the victim needed medical attention. Officers arrested Evan, 23, at the scene. She was charged with assault in the third degree and is being transported to the Horry County Detention Center where she will have a bond hearing.

This was not the first time the "Teen Mom 2" star had troubles with the law. Her most recent arrest happened in May when police charged her with domestic violence after she allegedly attacked Griffith at his house. She claimed that he tried to run her over with his car. She was also arrested in February for driving without a license, reported Us Weekly.
