The first trailer for "Victor Frankenstein" has been released, and it looks like it's not the same story you read in English class. "Victor Frankenstein" is a retelling of the classic Mary Shelley horror story about a mad scientist who brings a monster to life.

The film takes place from the perspective of Igor Frankenstein, played by Daniel Radcliffe, with James McAvoy in the title role as Victor. The movie is described as a "love story between these two men," according to MTV.

The trailer starts off with an introduction from the lead actors who are "very, very proud" of the film. "It is a very new twist on kind of a legendary tale," Radcliffe says.

The new film's "twist" on the often-adapted classic tale tells the tale of Frankenstein's monster from Victor's brother's Igor view, who this time has no hump. While the film is a re-imagination of the classic tale, it still has its roots in horror and science fiction, according to the Wall Street Journal. There are tons of special effects in the trailer; Frankenstein's monster looks especially terrifying.

The film also costars Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott. "Victor Frankenstein" comes out Nov. 25., according to Entertainment Weekly. Watch the first trailer for the film below!
