The organizational changes are still plentiful in Los Angeles. The Dodgers added a big name to their coaching staff while they've begun an overhaul of their international scouting department.

Former Milwaukee Brewers' manager Ron Roenicke will join manager Don Mattingly's coaching staff, according to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times. Roenicke will replace Lorenzo Bundy as the team's third base coach while Bundy is "expected to assist bench coach Tim Wallach with in-game decisions and continue to oversee the outfield defense."

Bundy has taken a big part of the blame for the Dodgers' basepath blunders and he'll now be reassigned. Roenicke, who was fired as Brewers' manager after a 7-18 start, will rejoin the Dodgers' organization, which is where his professional coaching career began.

But those aren't the only changes the Dodgers are making. Even after dominating the international signing scene over the past few seasons, the team has opted to make significant changes to their international scouting department.

Ken Gurnick and Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com report the Dodgers have parted ways with vice president Bob Engle, Latin American scouting coordinator Patrick Guerrero, Dominican Republic scouting coordinator Franklin Taveras, director of international and Minor League relations Joseph Reaves, special advisor for international player performance Rafael Colon, senior manager of international scouting Hidenori Sueyoshi and Latin American field coordinator Bruce Hurst.

The Dodgers have yet to confirm these moves, but Guerrero spoke with Gurnick and Sanchez about the situation.

"The only explanation I got was that they wanted to go in a different direction and nothing else," Guerrero said. "I understand. That's baseball."

During the 2015 international signing period the Dodgers signed top international prospects Yadier Alvarez, Starling Heredia, Ronny Brito, Christopher Arias and Oneal Cruz, among others. They also added a number of very young prospects last year including Misja Harcksen, Gersel Pitre, Shakir Albert and Hendrik Clementina.

However, it appears the Dodgers are looking to change the philosophy of the international scouting department.

Stay tuned for updates once the team confirms the moves and replaces these former executives.
