The Milwaukee Bucks currently have a full roster with 16 players signed to contracts whether they are guaranteed or non-guaranteed so they don't have much room for players hoping to make an NBA roster. Regardless of their roster size it appears they will be adding at least one more player for training camp and that is Marcus Landry, according to Gary Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times.

Landry was reportedly in Milwaukee on Monday morning working out for the Bucks and he is expected to sign a deal by the end of the day. Landry is a 29 year old small forward who is from Milwaukee and was a star at Wisconsin back in 2008-09 but hasn't played in the NBA since 2010. Landry actually only played in 18 NBA games in his career and received a grand total of 111 minutes and has scored 44 career points.

Landry is the younger brother of eight year NBA veteran Carl Landry who is now a member of the Philadelphia 76ers. Marcus Landry played last season with CAI Zaragova in one of the best basketball leagues in Spain where he averaged 10.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 46 percent from the field.

Landry has been looking for a roster spot in the NBA for a few years now but has been unable to stick after being invited to teams' training camps. This year may be no different for Landry as he is likely just a training camp body for the Bucks considering they have Giannis Antetokounmpo, Chris Copeland and Jabari Parker in front of him on the small forward depth chart.

In his senior season at Wisconsin, Landry averaged 12.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Landry also shot 50 percent from the field and 37 percent from three and with his good size (6 foot-7) looked like a guy who could play in the NBA but he just never stuck. Landry will be very motivated to make a good impression in camp for his hometown NBA team but it may be a lost cause.
