Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young has had quite the interesting offseason so far. He has been involved in trade rumors all offseason as the Lakers have tried to shed his contract and he also got engaged to his girlfriend Iggy Azalea. On Thursday night Nick Young and Iggy appeared on Spike's "Lip Sync Battle" as they faced off against each other with Iggy coming out victorious.

Iggy obviously had the advantage going into the competition considering she performs music in front of live audiences for a living but she still was able to dominate her fiancé. On "Lip Sync Battler" the performers each get to perform twice. The first performance is just straight lip syncing and basically a warm-up while the second song allows the performers to use props and dancers and put on a big show.

Iggy, a Grammy winning recording artist, stole the show when she performed "Freak Me" by Silk in which she was all over the floor and did a series of pelvic thrusts to the delight of the crowd. The crowd decides the winner of these battles and Azalea ran away with this one as Nick Young performed "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake but to no avail.

The future husband and wife seemed to have a lot of fun on the show even taking jabs at each other but we now know "Swaggy P" should let Iggy do the performing while he sticks to scoring buckets. It will be interesting to see if Young gets any backlash from the Los Angeles Lakers for his appearance on the show.

Young will be heading to training camp with the Lakers in a little over a month with a somewhat undefined role as they have brought in Lou Williams to be the sixth man. In 42 games last season Young averaged 13.4 points per game on just 37 percent shooting from the field so maybe his new engagement will lead to a better year on the court.
