There could be another politician in the Bush family dynasty! Yesterday, former President George W. Bush's daughter Jenna Bush Hager gave birth to a baby girl named Poppy Louise Hager. The "Today Show" correspondent and her husband Henry Hager welcomed their second daughter at 9:12 a.m. in New York City. The healthy baby weighed 7 pounds and measured 20.5 inches.

The couple decided to name their daughter after another president, Bush Hager's Grandfather George H.W. Bush, whose nickname is Poppy. "We are proud to name her after a man we so adore," Hager told Today. "We are thrilled."

"We are thrilled to announce the birth of our darling daughter," the couple said in a statement, according to People magazine. "Poppy is named after Jenna's grandfather, George Herbert Walker 'Poppy' Bush, a.k.a. Gampy. His nickname growing up was Poppy, and we are proud to name her after a man we so adore. Louise is in honor of our grandmothers' middle names, Louise and Lewis. Mom and Poppy are healthy and well."

Poppy joins big sister Mila, 2, who had a sense that a new family member was coming sooner rather than later, Bush Hager said, according to E!.

"She'll say, 'Hi, baby!' to my stomach. She is very precocious," Jenna said. "I think she'll be a great big sister but there may be a learning curve. She definitely likes attention!"
