John Brown, the "Good Day Orlando" host whose Kardashian rant went viral over the weekend, took the time to address his viewers and explain why he really stormed off the set, My Fox Oralndo reported. He had a meltdown off-camera while Rumba 100.3's Jenny Castillo presented a story about Kylie Jenner's new bunny, and he opened up about it on this morning's show.

"I'm sarcastic, I'm very sarcastic," he explained calmly to the cameras. "So what I said was how I felt, but when you see the headlines that said how angry I was, I wasn't angry you know, it was sarcasm."

In the clip, which has over 20 million views across all platforms, Brown got up from his seat on the Friday edition of the show, right before Castillo began to present her Kylie Jenner story, as previously reported by HNGN.

"I've had enough Kardashians," he said, seemingly exasperated. "I can't take any more Kardashian stories on this show!"

Brown reflected why he thinks the video struck a chord with so many people across the country.

"From the media standpoint, we feel like the public wants to hear it," Brown said, talking about the Kardashians. "The public hears it so much that they think the media's gonna give more and it's this huge cycle."

"But what we're finding out is maybe that's not right," Brown continued. "It makes you think 'okay do we give the people what they want or what we think they want, and is the public then buying into it?' And that's what I take away from it."

He also gave his opinion on the hashtag "No Kardashians For A Week," a social media campaign that asks news outlets to cleanse its sites of all things Kardashian-Jenner for a full week.

"I think it's silly," Brown tweeted. "Why don't we ONLY cover them if they make actual news?"
