The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) announced four winners of next year's Academy Awards on Thursday-among them: Angelina Jolie, Steve Martin and Angela Lansbury.

Martin and Lansbury will receive lifetime achievement honors, along with costume designer Piero Tosi, Yahoo! Movies reported.

Angelina Jolie will be the recipient of the highly coveted Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. According to AMPAS, the prize is given "to an individual in the motion picture industry whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the industry."

Seems like this prize was made for Jolie, who has gotten high praise for her work with charity organizations, as well as her social justice efforts abroad-she used those experiences as inspiration for her book, "Notes from My Travels."

In an AMPAS press release, Jolie was described as "an impassioned advocate for humanitarian causes, traveling widely to promote organizations and social justice efforts such as the Prevent Sexual Violence Initiative."

Jolie will be the youngest person to ever be awarded the Jean Hersholt Award at 38 years old.

Martin will receive his first Academy Award this year. Although he's hosted the Oscars three times, he hasn't yet been awarded a little gold guy.

In 2012, he tweeted, "Looking over my trophies: Emmy: check. Grammy: check. Tony: eat me. Oscar: shove it. Pulitzer: who cares."

Later, he joked, "I swear, if I don't win an Oscar this year, it will be like every other year," the Telegraph reported.

Martin's comedic curriculum vitae is expansive and varied-he's starred in such films as "The Three Amigos," "Roxanne," and "Shopgirl."

"I'm proud to win an honorary Oscar this year," he said, mentioning that it was "a salute to comedy and all the great people I've worked with."

Esteemed actress Angela Lansbury has won a few Oscars, in addition to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. She's also been nominated for an Emmy Award 18 times.

Lansbury is best known for her role as Jessica Fletcher on "Murder She Wrote," but also played in the 1944 film, "Gaslight," as well as "The Picture of Dorian Gray."

Piero Tosi, Italian costume designer, has created whimsical wears for such classics as "The Leopard," Death in Venice," and "The Innocent."

Tosi is also a five-time Oscar nominee, Yahoo! Movies reported.
